The International Workshop on Global Research Initiative for Wireless Technology (IGROW) is a premier event organized under the auspices of the GROW-THz project. The inaugural IGROW will take place in February 2025, with two sessions: the first on Friday, February 7th, hosted at Hiroshima University, and the second on Tuesday, February 11th, and Wednesday, February 12th, hosted at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT).

The name IGROW embodies a dual aspiration: it not only reflects the project’s focus on advancing global research initiatives in wireless terahertz technology but also carries a personal resonance—the desire for each participant, represented by “I,” to grow alongside the rapid advancements in this transformative field.

The workshop will bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to explore cutting-edge developments, foster international collaboration, and envision the future of wireless terahertz technology. By creating a platform for knowledge exchange and dialogue, IGROW aims to contribute to the global effort of realizing practical and impactful innovations in terahertz communication.

The workshop will feature invited lectures of 25 minutes (including Q&A) and general presentations of 20 minutes (including Q&A).

We warmly invite all who are passionate about terahertz technology to join us at 1st IGROW and be part of this exciting journey of discovery and growth.
